A7LA5 vzw is the production structure of choreographer Radouan Mriziga, one of the most distinctive voices in international contemporary dance. Based in Brussels, the company creates and tours globally,with co-productions at venues such as deSingel, Charleroi Danse, Kanal Centre Pompidou, Festivald'Automne à Paris, and Festival de Marseille. Since its founding in 2019, A7LA5 has created seven newproductions and presented over 170 performances. The company is entering a new growth phase with the premiere of Atlantis / the Sea at deSingel in November 2026.
FUNCTIE
You support the technical director during international tours. You are a versatile, hands-on professional
who can work both independently and as part of a team, and you thrive in a dynamic, international
environment where no two days are the same.
Your responsibilities include:
• Execution of theater-technical tasks on location: load-in, load-out, and show operation, both
individually and with colleagues.
• Assisting in the preparation of touring productions (rehearsals, technical adjustments).
• Providing support according to the needs of the moment, both on tour and on location.
• Support with light, sound, and video programming — knowledge of computer-driven theater
technology and programming tools is a significant asset.
• Able to manage and coordinate setup across different venues, including supervising and directing the venue’s technical team during installation.
• Maintaining technical documentation: floor plans, lighting plots, patch lists.
PROFIEL
• Higher education in theater technology, or equivalent experience.
• A versatile, hands-on professional with a can-do mentality.
• Good knowledge of lighting technology is a plus.
• Computer skills are essential: experience with light and/or sound & Video programming (e.g. ETC
Eos, Dlight , Ableton live, Madmapper or similar software). Experience with Capture or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Driving license B minimum.
• Fluent in English, French and Dutch
• Strong sense of responsibility and craftsmanship.
• Good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and flexibility to work individually and in a team.
• Affinity with A7LA5's artistic program and the contemporary dance sector.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
