THE SKATEROOM is an art and social impact platform that transforms contemporary artworks into collectible editions and functional objects. By collaborating with some of the most influential artists, estates, and cultural institutions of our time, the project reimagines how art can exist beyond traditional spaces and enter everyday life.

At its core, THE SKATEROOM operates on a simple principle: art can be a force for change. A portion of every sale supports social impact initiatives that build skateparks and fund educational programs for youth and underserved communities worldwide. These projects create safe spaces, foster self-expression, and provide access to creative opportunities.

FUNCTIE

The mission of the Finance and Administration Manager is to assist the company in its growth and maintain a healthy financial follow up at different levels:

• Corporate Finance

• Accounting

• Corporate administration

Corporate finance: you’re developing and managing the financial strategy of our company in a context of growth & investment. That means ensuring proper follow up on:

• cash-flow management & risk assessment

• budget processes

• internal and external reporting

• supporting and advising the team on the financial side of projects, working with every member to identify levers that will improve margins and profitability

Accounting: 

• Full accounting of the company with ad hoc external support

• Specifically, you’re in charge of the royalties reporting and follow up (quarterly)

• Analytic accounting

Corporate administration: 

• you’re responsible for the different company contracts, insurances, legal and tax matters

• you’re handling the payroll administration (hard HR)

• you’re the contact person for our ERP (Odoo) and ensuring Odoo is working smoothly

PROFIEL

• 5-8 years of professional experience in auditing, accounting and/or SME financial roles

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, accounting or Business Administration

• Strong knowledge of Odoo, Excel

• Proficient in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to automate tasks, streamline processes, and improve financial workflows

• You have a commercial approach, but understand the specificities of our engaged business model and art connections

• You think long-term and implement processes

• High level of integrity, trustworthy, able to handle highly confidential and sensitive information

• Proficiency in speaking and writing in English (French is a plus)

• Ability to work independently and with autonomy

• Knowledge/Interest about arts/entertainment/music/culture is a plus

We’re looking for people who take initiative, bring solutions, work well as a team, and aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset is key. 

AANBOD

• Part time occupation 2 to 3 days/week (to be discussed)

• Possibility to work as a freelancer or salaried

• Freelance : fixed daily or monthly rate based on experience and involvement

• Salaried : A competitive salary, based on experience and skills, and an attractive fringe benefit package including an additional health insurance scheme, group hospitalization insurance, lunch vouchers and compensation of public transport costs
