COMMUNITY & CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER


ORGANISATIE

At Uma Health, we’re building the go-to platform for women navigating (peri)menopause across Europe. Our digital platform connects women with certified healthcare providers, from lifestyle specialists to doctors, who offer personalized support. We also provide inspiring content, valuable insights and a growing community.

Our mission: to empower women with quick access to care, clear information and a safe community.

As a Community & Customer support manager, you will help strengthen this mission. You connect users, healthcare providers, and content, creating a warm, informative environment where women feel supported and understood.

FUNCTIE

What you’ll do:

  • Answer questions from our community via email, chat and social media

  • Monitor conversations and flag trends, concerns or insights to the team

  • Provide thoughtful, timely and clear responses in English, Dutch and French

  • Collaborate with the broader team to improve our support processes

  • Potentially also support us in creating and posting content on social media and assist with light marketing tasks such as preparing newsletters or updating website copy

We’re not looking for just any community manager. At Uma Health, you’ll be shaping a safe, supportive space for women in (peri)menopause. That requires more than skills, it requires the right mindset.

PROFIEL

You are:

  • A true community builder, genuinely interested in (or eager to deeply understand) the realities of (peri)menopause.

  • An excellent communicator, fluent in English, Dutch and French, with strong writing skills.

  • Empathetic, proactive and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to connect and build trust.

  • Independent and reliable, comfortable working remotely while taking full ownership of your work.

  • Solution-driven and positive mindset, able to navigate change and ambiguity with a positive, constructive mindset

  • Aligned with Uma’s values: people-first, solutions-focused, honest and ambitious for change

Bonus points if:

  • You’re passionate about women’s health

  • You have prior experience in customer support, community management or digital health

  • You have a relevant marketing background, this could allow us to expand the role to include more marketing-related responsibilities

AANBOD

Location: Mainly remote and (occasionally) at our offices in Wintercircus Ghent

Availability: Initially 2–3 hours/day, with required coverage between 8 - 10 a.m and 4 - 7 p.m. A quick increase of working hours is expected in the near future.
