Carbon+Alt+Delete is a climate tech start-up at the crossroad of technology and sustainability. Our software supports sustainability consultants with measuring and reducing the carbon footprint of companies. We are looking for a driven Business Operations Owner to strengthen our team.

Carbon+Alt+Delete is based in Mechelen, Belgium. We serve clients across Europe and our remote-first team works from all over the world to improve our product and serve our clients. FUNCTIE

You will execute and optimize the internal operations of Carbon+Alt+Delete, on topics linked to finance, people and events:

• Support our CEO in managing and following up on budgets and actuals

• Process and manage incoming and outgoing invoices

• Manage HR administration, such as contracting and payroll

• Organise internal events, such as the annual onsite

• Support marketing and sales in organising external events and travel

You will work closely together with our co-founder and CEO Kenneth Van den Bergh, as well with our accountant and social secretariat. Given our scale-up nature, you will have a direct impact on the business and get the opportunity to grow together with Carbon+Alt+Delete.

PROFIEL

We are looking for someone with:

• A strong drive to have a positive impact

• An entrepreneurial mindset to actively contribute to building Carbon+Alt+Delete

• At least 5 years of working experience in mid-sized or large companies, in functions related to HR, finance or PA

• Fluency in Dutch and English

AANBOD

We offer a payroll contract of undetermined duration for 0.5 FTE up to 1 FTE (details can be discussed). We provide a competitive renumeration package and a flexible working environment (i.e., combination of homeworking with days at the office in Mechelen). Foreseen starting date is October 2025.
